The Mill Products Division can provide stress relieving service to bars that have undergone stress from heat treatment or mechanical stress due to straightening, drawing, etc. Our furnaces are continuous roller hearth furnaces. The material travels the full length of the furnace, thereby assuring that the material undergoes a uniform heating and cooling cycle. Temperatures can range from 500 degrees to 1275 degrees F.

If stress relieving is required for material that has been heat treated, we require the heat treat cycle so that we do not affect the tempering of the material.
