  • TC Industries began in 1881 as the Spring Valley Tile Works
  • In 1887, the name was changed to the American Terra Cotta and Ceramic Company
  • In 1935, the company was acquired by the Berry family and became the American Terra Cotta Corporation
  • In 1948, as a result of WWII, the business converted to steel heat treating and became the American Steel Treating Company.
  • In 1955, the Mill Products Division was formed and five years later, the Processed Steel Company was formed.
  • In 1972, TC Industries, Inc was incorporated as a holding company for Mill Products, Processed Steel and our international plants in Canada and the UK
